We offer: History of figurine porcelain - Royal Dux Porcelain from BohemiaThe porcelain factory in Duchcov (Dux), Czech Republic was founded in the year 1853. After the first timid attempts with producing utility ceramics goods from of raw materials mined in the closest surroundings, the factory was bought by the experienced model-drawer Eduard Eichler and turned into the firm E.Eichler Thonwaren-Fabrik. The manufactory experienced a period of prosperity and the goods produced here were mainly from terracotta, faience and majolica in the genre of Copenhagen, Worcester and Sevres. In 1878 the Eichler firm was awarded Silver Medal at the exhibition in Paris. The manufactory started to produce, apart from the traditional products, also czech porcelain. Since 1900 it has been using its traditional trade mark made from rose. Colored material in the form of a triangle with the inscription ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA porcelain and an acorn. The articles are decorated with on-glaze colours using brushes. They shine thanks to bright colours and flower patterns combined with gold. This decoration is used for human motifs. 260 - Isis: On-glaze decoration - the article is decorated with cobalt glaze. In addition to rich gilding, the on-glaze colours are used for drawing and other supplements with human motifs. Decorative articles can be completed with one-colour and fancy flower motifs 310 - Purple: On-glaze decoration, which is made as sprayed purple on-glaze colours containing gold. It is mostly used for decoration with human motifs and on articles of decoration chinaware, completed with one-colour or fancy flower motifs. 350 - Stock black: On-glaze decoration - it is used on glazed articles using spraying of the whole surface with black, brown, grey or white colours.
